Who We Are

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Ruiru Self Help Group (Ruiru
Fund) operates under Caritas Nairobi Self Help Programme in the
Archdiocese of Nairobi. It was established in 1995 by 30 members of
Catholic Women Association (CWA) in Ruiru Parish, Kiambu County.
Since then the group has grown tremendously from that humble
beginning to its current status. It has over 20,000(twenty thousand) members and members’ savings in excess of KSH 1 Billion.
